Overview:
A Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis of an organisation. The position involves gathering, interpreting, and utilising financial data to support strategic decision-making, optimise business performance, and ensure financial health. Finance Analysts work closely with various departments and report to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough data analysis
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to aid management in decision-making.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted/forecasted outcomes, highlighting reasons for discrepancies.

Support business planning by modelling different scenarios and assessing the financial impact of strategic initiatives.

Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders, board meetings, and external auditors.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure data integrity.

Evaluate investment opportunities, cost reduction initiatives, and risk management strategies.

Create and manage SOWs in Fieldglass and publish weekly reports

Create and manage POs and publish weekly reports
Ensure cross -charges are carried out at regular intervals and publishing details forecast reports -
Ensure timely invoice clearance and payments

Publish weekly and monthly finance reports with accurate forecasts

Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Working closely with Stakeholders and cross functional finance teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (CA, MBA in Finance preferred).

5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar analytical role (entry-level positions may accept freshers with strong academic records).

Software and technical know-how is a plus

Ability to work in excel, Fieldglass etc., is an advantage

Experience managing a P&L is a plus

Professional certifications such as CFA, CIMA, or ACCA are an added advantage
