Among other things, here’s what you’ll be doing:

Participate in design discussions under guidance, contributing to collaborative, creative design solutions.

Assist in translating design concepts into sketches, diagrams, and BIM models to support various design phases.

Support the development of presentation materials for coordination with the design team and owner, learning to communicate design intent clearly.

Assist with technical development of design and details through various project phases, supporting overall architectural design and documentation.

Contribute to design and documentation using Revit and related BIM tools across multiple project phases.

Support coordination efforts by collaborating with project teams across various disciplines.

Assist with zoning and building code review under guidance to gain understanding of code requirements and design impacts.

Support permitting processes, quality control, and construction administration efforts in coordination with senior staff.

Gain foundational understanding of project scope, schedule, and budget, and how these impact daily tasks and team workflows.
Ideal qualifications we seek in a candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture.

Early-career candidates with 0-2 years of experience in a professional architecture setting.

Proficient in Revit for basic modeling and documentation tasks.

Experience supporting one or more design phases such as Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CDs), and Construction Administration (CA).

Foundational knowledge of zoning and building codes.

Ability to clearly communicate design and technical intent to team members.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and learn from senior staff.

Enthusiasm for developing technical, design, and communication skills through hands-on project experience.

This is a full-time position based in our Tacoma office. Some regional travel is necessary.

The pay range for this position is $63,750 – $86,250. Where a person is paid in the range depends on multiple factors such as qualifications, tenure, and work performance.
