This role is ideal for an experienced designer eager to contribute creatively and technically across a diverse portfolio of projects — from early concept to detailed documentation. Working closely with senior designers and project teams, you’ll help shape design narratives, refine architectural details, and mentor emerging talent while gaining deeper leadership experience within a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of design strategies, material palettes, facades, and spatial compositions.

  • Produce and review detailed drawings, models, and visualizations using Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Photoshop.

  • Support design innovation through computational tools such as Grasshopper.

  • Collaborate with senior designers and the technical team to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with codes and OBMI standards.

  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, gaining exposure to project management tasks.

  • Mentor junior team members on design tools, workflows, and professional standards.

  • Conduct design research and stay current with new materials, technologies, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s a plus).

  • 6–8 years of professional architectural experience.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong knowledge of design documentation, detailing, and coordination with consultants.

  • Understanding of building codes and professional standards (AIA, RIBA, ARB, or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Experience in computational design tools (Grasshopper) preferred.

  • Demonstrates creativity, technical precision, and a proactive mindset.

Why Join OBMI

You’ll work alongside global design leaders, explore innovation through digital and sustainable tools, and help create environments that leave a lasting mark. We’re committed to nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and celebrating every voice that shapes our shared vision.
