Architectural Department Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Architectural Department Manager to lead the architectural team in our engineering consultancy office. The ideal candidate will oversee all architectural design stages, manage the team, ensure high-quality deliverables, and coordinate with all project disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the architectural design team.
• Oversee concept design, detailed design, and project documentation.
• Review and approve architectural drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QCS, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other departments.
• Attend client meetings and present design solutions.
• Manage submissions to authorities and ensure timely approvals.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 12–15 years of architectural experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong consultancy background and experience in Qatar.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and design standards.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and authority procedures.
• Mandatory: UPDA Grade A (Architect – Engineers Classification).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
