Architectural Designer

Overview
We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to contribute to the design and development of commercial projects from concept through construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design, proficiency in design software, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires creativity, technical ability, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for architectural projects.
• Assist with field measurements, site visits, and documentation
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors under direction of project lead
• Research codes and apply requirements to design solutions
• Develop detailed architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD
• Create 3D models and visualizations using tools like Sketchup
• Prepare construction documents, schematics, and drafting plans for project implementation.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and ensure designs are feasible within the given environment.
• Work closely with engineers and contractors to integrate system designs into architectural plans.
• Contribute to multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• 2+ years of experience in an architectural office
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design, graphic, and visualization skills
• Good knowledge of building codes and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally
• Familiarity with interior design concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of design work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,997.50 - $73,459.35 per year
