CPH’s Architectural Team has an exciting opportunity for a talented Architectural Designer to join their team supporting a major client program due to rapid growth and opportunity! This will require high collaboration and heavy cross-functional work across several disciplines within CPH to provide the final work deliverable for our client.

General Overview:

The Architectural Designer supports CPH in all aspects of the design process, including presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. This role requires collaboration with a diverse project team and follows the established standards to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You Will Do

The Architectural Designer will support any technical design tasks assigned to support final execution of design intent from prototype forward to next design phase. Thus, the process would include production of design guidelines and templates resulting in your primary goal of producing final construction documents.

The responsibilities will include heavy and routine use of Revit to site adapt retail prototypes and ensure that they meet company design intent.

What You Should Expect
This role will require long-term commitment to technical design production support with the end-goal being production of construction documents. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who wants to grow with our team long-term with an abundant growth path in our organization. However, we expect this individual to support this path for a minimum of 2-3 years with highly focused Revit design support on major retail design needs dedicated to this big brand program.


- Duties & Responsibilities -


  • Prepare accurate architectural presentations, design, and construction documents using REVIT.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including architects, designers, consultants, and clients, to ensure cohesive design integration.
  • Research and interpret relevant codes and client requirements to inform design decisions.
  • Implement and utilize established REVIT standards, families, and templates to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Prepare specifications and review shop drawings for compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic travel for building investigations, measurements, and construction observation, including the preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
  • Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines for submittal to agencies with jurisdiction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

- Position Requirements -


Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in REVIT, Sketchup and Adobe Suite
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgement.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.

This position is in a professional office environment. The person in this role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing cabinets.

The person in this position may require sitting or standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
