Cordogan Clark is looking for an Architectural Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting senior project management on a variety of design projects. This is a full-time position for a professional with 4 to 8 years of general full-time experience.

The Role We Want You For

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer with a strong design focus and experience in all phases of architectural projects. The ideal candidate is skilled in translating conceptual ideas into innovative and buildable solutions while collaborating closely with our design and construction teams.

Responsibilities include project documentation, project development, assistance in building design concept and development, transforming detailing into a complete set of construction documents, reviewing components designed by engineers and other consultants, and assistance in clarifying the design intent from the design phase through construction.

This is an in-office position that requires the ability to create and present design concepts and then subsequently produce high quality construction documents as needed for competitive bidding purposes alongside the architecture team.

Specifics of Your Role

  • Develop architectural concepts, design documentation, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with project teams from schematic design through construction.
  • Create high-quality 3D visualizations using Revit, Lumion, and Enscape.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, contributing to design solutions.
  • Support construction administration as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Accredited degree in Architecture.
  • Recent graduates through 4 to 8 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in BIM 360/Revit design platform.
  • Solid understanding of a wide range of computer applications used in a professional design office: Microsoft 365 suite of products, Adobe suite, Bluebeam, and familiarity with 3D programs SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, etc.
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.
