Architectural Designer

Prime Design Homes is looking for a talented and motivated Architectural Designer/Draftsman to join our growing team of home-building experts. In this role, you’ll bring dream homes to life—creating precise construction plans that balance creativity, functionality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and detailed construction drawings using leading CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and construction professionals to ensure every plan meets code requirements and design intent.
• Revise and refine existing plans to align with client feedback and project needs.
• Generate material lists and project schedules to support efficient construction.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and documentation across all projects.
• Partner with project managers to balance multiple projects and meet key deadlines.
• Contribute innovative ideas during design reviews and team meetings.
• Stay ahead of evolving building codes, design trends, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and assist with construction data management.

What You Bring:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience in the home building industry.
• Proficiency in Softplan or Sketchup; experience with SoftPlan is a plus.
• Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
