Architectural Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative residential Architectural Designer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into detailed, functional, and aesthetically compelling architectural designs. Your passion for design excellence, combined with technical expertise, will drive the development of projects from initial sketches to comprehensive construction documents. Duties

• Develop conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Create precise schematics, plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models to communicate design intent effectively.
• Utilize SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to produce realistic visualizations and animations that bring ideas to life.
• Incorporate interior design principles, mechanical systems, and graphic elements into comprehensive project plans.
• Assist in system design, drafting technical details, and ensuring adherence to building codes and standards.
• Use Bluebeam for PDF markups, revisions, and project documentation management to streamline workflows.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential architectural design
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for detailed drafting and modeling.
• Skilled in 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max for rendering and animation purposes.
• Familiarity with schematic development, construction processes, interior design concepts, and mechanical system integration.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices is highly desirable.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
