Architectural Designer

Overview
We are seeking an Architectural Designer who not only has a strong architectural background but also excels in client engagement and business development. This unique role is ideal for an architect who enjoys meeting people, explaining design possibilities, and helping clients.

The successful candidate will use their architectural expertise to guide potential customers while also contributing to the company’s marketing and sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients to discuss residential renovation, addition, or new construction projects.
• Translate client needs into conceptual design ideas and clearly communicate architectural solutions.
• Advise clients on local building codes, permitting requirements, and design feasibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with project delivery.
• Support business growth by actively engaging in marketing and sales activities, including relationship building and project acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a related field (required).
• Strong understanding of residential design and building code requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Interest or prior experience in marketing, sales, or business development within the construction/design industry is highly valued.
• Translate client needs into conceptual design ideas and clearly communicate architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with project delivery.
• Support business growth by actively engaging in marketing and sales activities, including relationship building and project acquisition.

Skills

• Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, or similar
• Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Experience in creating schematics and drafting detailed plans.
• Familiarity with system design concepts relevant to architectural projects.
• Experience in interior design or mechanical design is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate complex architectural and technical concepts clearly to diverse clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
