Architectural Designer

Aharonian & Associates, Inc. Architects, located in Smithfield Rhode Island, is looking for energetic and enthusiastic architects to join their team for an open full-time position. We are a multi-disciplinary firm that offers a comprehensive range of services in the fields of Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design.

This position will primarily be drafting for retail clients; including but not limited to quick-serve restaurants, coffee shops, and food chains. Drafting responsibilities to include documenting existing conditions, preparing schematic design documents, and drafting construction drawings with guidance of our team.

Requirements:

• Professional Architectural Degree (minimum Associates completed)

• Detail orientated, hightly motivated, able to work in fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of SketchUP, Microsoft Office, Revit, Photoshop and any others a plus.

• Preliminary knowledge in reading Building, Fire and Accessibility Codes.

• Excellent written and graphic communication skills.

• Enjoys a collaborative work environment and has good interpersonal skills.
