Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans for architectural projects using CAD and other drafting software. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to transform design concepts into detailed construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce architectural drawings and technical documentation based on design specifications.

* Convert conceptual designs and sketches into detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

* Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and standards.

* Assist in preparing presentation materials and renderings as needed.

* Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.

* Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation.

* Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, MEP) to integrate designs smoothly.

* Perform site measurements and visits when required.

Qualifications:

* Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

* Proven experience (1+ years preferred) as an architectural draftsperson or similar role.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential SketchUp, and other design tools are a plus.

* Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and architectural detailing.

* Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.

* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.
