2D Draftsman – Job Description

A 2D Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They support engineers, architects, and designers by preparing accurate 2D drawings, layouts, and schematics required for construction, fabrication, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop 2D drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and project requirements into accurate technical drawings.
• Revise and update drawings as per feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for easy reference.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve drawing-related issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards and symbols.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
