We are Hiring : ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN

Salary : 7000 - 8000

JOB PURPOSE:
To prepare, develop and execute detailed architectural drawings for high-rise building projects using CAD software, ensuring design accuracy, compliance with codes, and proper coordination with consultants and site teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections & elevations for high-rise buildings using AutoCAD / Revit.

Work closely with architects and engineers to convert conceptual sketches and design intent into technical drawings.

Conduct site visits to collect measurements and update drawings based on site conditions.

Coordinate drawings with MEP / Structural disciplines and ensure alignment with approved IFC & shop drawings.

Review architectural drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Update drawings based on comments received from consultants, clients, or contractors.

Prepare as-built drawings after project completion or as required.

Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and drawing registers.

Ensure all drawings are prepared as per authority requirements, building codes, and applicable regulations.

Participate in design meetings and coordination meetings with site & design teams.

Assist in creating 3D visuals / presentation drawings when required.

Skills / Competencies:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as Architectural Draftsman in high-rise building projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop is an advantage.

Good understanding of UAE building codes, authority guidelines & construction standards.

Strong visualization and detailing skills.

Ability to generate detailed working drawings and shop drawings independently.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously.

Strong coordination skills with MEP and Structural drawings.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
