Architectural Draftsman

• CAD Software Proficiency: Create precise architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings using relevant CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit.
• Drawing Preparation & Detailing: Produce detailed technical, shop, and as-built drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and specific details like emergency exits, fire suppression systems, and accessibility features.
• Authority Compliance: Ensure all designs and drawings strictly adhere to the specific standards and regulations set by DCD and DDA, as well as the UAE Fire Code and Dubai Universal Design Code for accessibility.
• Submission Management: Assist in compiling and organizing the required documentation and drawings for initial and final design approval submissions via the DCD and DDA online portals or manual processes.
• Coordination and Revision: Liaise and coordinate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and third-party consultants (like RTA or DEWA) to ensure all drawings are synchronized, accurate, and incorporate any design changes or authority feedback.
• Documentation and Archiving: Maintain an organized archive of all project drawings, documents, and revision history, ensuring proper file formats (e.g., A1 size, DWF format for DDA submissions) and clear naming conventions.
• Problem Solving: Work with the project team to address comments and find solutions for design or regulation issues raised by DCD or DDA engineers during the review process.
