Architectural Revit Draftsman / BIM Modeler – High-Rise Residential

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Revit Draftsman / BIM Modeler to join our design team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience working on high-rise residential RCC projects and must be proficient in producing detailed architectural shop drawings directly from Revit BIM models.

Important: This is a Revit-centric role. Candidates with experience limited to AutoCAD drafting will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling & Documentation
• Develop, manage, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for high-rise residential towers (LOD 350–400).
• Architectural Shop Drawings
• Produce detailed shop drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details directly from Revit models.
• Revit Family Creation
• Create and modify parametric Revit families (doors, windows, joinery, finishes, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Discipline Coordination
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural (RCC) and MEP teams.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Design Revisions
• Update models and drawings based on RFIs, site feedback, and consultant instructions.
• Authority & BIM Compliance
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality) and project BIM standards.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Drafting Technology.
• Experience
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience on high-rise residential RCC buildings.
• Software Skills
• Revit Architecture – Advanced (must independently produce shop drawings).
• AutoCAD – Proficient.
• Navisworks – Working knowledge for clash detection.
• BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud – Preferred.
• Technical Knowledge
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and UAE building codes.

Selection Criteria (Mandatory – Read Carefully)

Applicants must be able to confirm:

• ✔ Experience producing architectural shop drawings directly in Revit (not exported to AutoCAD).
• ✔ Hands-on experience with high-rise RCC residential projects.
• ✔ Ability to create and customize Revit families.
