Job Title: Architectural Draftsman

Department: Architecture / Design

Location: Canal City, Sarai Alamgir – ACE Properties

Reporting To: Senior Architect / Principal architect

Job Purpose:

The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and design plans in alignment with project specifications and company standards. The role involves supporting architects and engineers in transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings for construction and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or related software
• Translate conceptual sketches and design briefs into technical drawings and 3D visualizations
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams to ensure design consistency and compliance
• Maintain and update drawing documentation, revision records, and drawing registers
• Assist in BOQ preparation and verification of on-site measurements when required
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, local regulations, and company design standards
• Support architects in design presentations, site inspections, and client submissions
• Manage and archive all approved drawings systematically for reference and audit purposes
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in architectural drafting (real estate or housing project experience preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office; knowledge of Lumion or Photoshop is a plus
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and detailing
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with technical teams
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines
