Architectural Engineer

Job Summary:


A highly experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to contribute to the design, coordination, and execution of large-scale real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and developers to ensure that all building designs are aesthetically pleasing, structurally sound, cost-effective, and fully compliant with applicable codes and regulations.

This role requires strong technical competence, leadership in design coordination, and the ability to manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring design integrity and supporting the successful delivery of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage architectural design processes from concept through construction.
  • Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and submittals with other engineering disciplines (structural, MEP, landscape).
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, site evaluations, and pre-construction planning.
  • Oversee architectural quality control across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and developers to ensure technical and design alignment.
  • Provide technical recommendations during design reviews, value engineering, and procurement.
  • Monitor on-site construction to ensure alignment with design and technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
  • Contribute to project budgeting, scheduling, and progress reporting from an architectural perspective.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering , Architecture, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus.)
  • 1 5+ years of experience in architectural engineering, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp, and related software.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and international/local codes.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
  • Professional certification or licensure (PE, PMP, or equivalent) is a plus.
