About the Project:
Join our team for the Al Mamsha Raseel & Hamsa Residential Project, a high-profile residential development where innovation, quality, and collaboration are at the forefront of design and construction.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Engineer to lead the design and construction of buildings, structures, and other elements of the physical environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects to ensure designs are feasible, compliant, and executable, while supervising construction activities to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, study, and review detailed drawings, specifications, BOQs, As-built drawings, and tender documents.
• Supervise all subcontractors including MEP, interior, and civil construction teams.
• Handle submissions and approvals from Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Civil Defense, and other regulatory authorities.
• Estimate project resources in line with program targets.
• Discuss project objectives, requirements, and budget, specifying the nature and quality of materials.
• Ensure design processes comply with current legislation, codes of practice, and obtain necessary permits.
• Raise requisitions for timely supply of materials and labor to maintain progress.
• Conduct regular meetings with site supervisors and contractors to track progress and plan upcoming work.
• Review blueprints, designs, and plans, recommending improvements when necessary.
• Develop computer models of buildings using specialized software programs.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet building codes and standards.
• Undertake snagging inspections upon project completion and manage defect rectification processes.
• Assess the feasibility of designs before construction begins.

Other Duties:

• Test and evaluate building systems to identify issues and improvements.
• Read, interpret, and explain complex technical documents.
• Consult with clients regarding project specifications and progress.

Key Interactions:

• Internal: Leadership, Construction Department, QA/QC, Contract Department, MEP Department
• External: Consultants, Subcontractors

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Proven 8+ years of experience in building design and construction, preferably in residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards in the UAE.
• Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
