Design & Planning
- Develop architectural and engineering designs for buildings and structures
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
- Ensure designs comply with client requirements and project scope
2. Technical Coordination
- Review and integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Resolve design conflicts between different disciplines
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations
3. Project Management
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams
4. Site Supervision
- Inspect construction sites to ensure work follows drawings and specifications
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues
5. Compliance & Regulations
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations (e.g., UAE standards, municipality approvals)
- Prepare and review permit documentation
- Coordinate with authorities for approvals and inspections
6. Material & Cost Control
- Evaluate materials and construction methods
- Assist in cost estimation and budgeting
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency without compromising quality
7. Quality Assurance
- Conduct inspections and quality checks
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet project standards
- Prepare reports and documentation for QA/QC
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation (drawings, reports, approvals)
- Prepare progress reports and technical submissions
- Update drawings based on site changes (as-built drawings)
Optional Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Experience in metal/steel fabrication (if relevant to your company)
