Architectural Engineer

House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia. We provide integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy services, offering a “one-stop solution” to support our clients across the full project lifecycle.

We are currently looking for a highly qualified Architectural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and supervise architectural and interior fit-out works throughout all project phases
• Ensure the quality and execution of high-end finishes in accordance with project specifications and design intent
• Coordinate with interior designers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Review architectural drawings, material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards
• Resolve architectural and interior design-related technical issues during construction
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, safety standards, and hospitality industry best practices
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site observation reports
• Support project management teams in maintaining project schedules and quality objectives
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical recommendations when required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural engineering and construction supervision
• Strong experience in hospitality projects, particularly hotels and luxury developments
• Proven expertise in interior design coordination and high-end finishes
• Experience working on premium hospitality brands, luxury hotels, or large-scale mixed-use developments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and quality control processes
• Familiarity with Saudi building regulations, codes, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and other relevant design software
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic speaking candidates are preferred
