Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections to verify that all architectural work, including building structures, finishes, and installations, are executed in strict accordance with the approved design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documentation to ensure they meet the project requirements and relevant regulations.
• Monitor the work of construction crews and subcontractors to identify any deficiencies or nonconformances and ensure timely corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve any architectural issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, photo documentation, and other records to track the progress and quality of the architectural work.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for the architectural scope of the project.
• Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure the project adheres to all applicable building codes, permits, and zoning requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and construction personnel to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and other activities as required to support the overall success of the AlUla development.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector or Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) professional in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction materials and methods
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing project requirements
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both verbal and written)
