Brookhaven National Lab's Modernization Project Office (MPO) is responsible for the engineering, design, cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls on conventional construction projects, including the selection of architectural/engineering firms, contractors and others engaged for these projects.
As a member of the Modernization Project Office, the experienced architectural/ civil inspector will inspect architectural installations, room layouts, roofing/ siding, façade/ curtainwall, interior finishes, foundations, and site work associated with new construction and/or renovation work to ensure conformance with contract documents and applicable codes and standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years' field experience in construction with an emphasis on interior finishes, site work, foundations, and coordination of work by the various trades associated with construction.

Other Information:
This is a fully onsite position located at BNL.
Due to the need for unescorted access to controlled areas of the laboratory, this position is limited to U.S. citizens in accordance with site security requirements.
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Brookhaven Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. This is a multi-level role and the full salary range for this position is $92050 - $156150 / year. You will be placed at the level and salary commensurate with your experience. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
