Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) – Utilities to join our project supervision team. The successful candidate will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing utilities works, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising utilities works including water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and other related infrastructure.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Review and report on construction progress, inspections, and testing activities.
• Identify and report any technical issues, non-conformities, or delays.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Attend site meetings and prepare technical reports as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in utilities supervision and infrastructure projects.
• UPDA certification is mandatory, preferably Grade A.
• Experience with Public Works Authority (PWA / Ashghal) projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of utilities standards, specifications, and local authority requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supervision team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure and utilities projects in Qatar.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in technical reporting and site documentation.
