Area Manager

We are looking for a strong and experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple restaurant branches within an assigned cluster. The role is fully field-based and requires a hands-on operations leader who can control branch performance, staff discipline, sales, cash handling, hygiene standards, delivery platform performance, and daily execution.

The Area Manager will be responsible for supervising Restaurant Shift Managers, Kitchen In-Charge staff, FOH teams, and BOH teams. The candidate must be able to visit branches regularly, identify operational problems, enforce company SOPs, hold managers accountable, and take immediate corrective action when standards are not met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control daily operations across multiple restaurant branches.
  • Ensure branches follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, food safety rules, and management instructions.
  • Supervise and evaluate Branch Managers, Shift Managers, Kitchen In-Charge, FOH, and BOH staff.
  • Enforce staff discipline, grooming, attendance, service standards, and operational accountability.
  • Conduct regular branch visits, cash audits, sales checks, hygiene inspections, and operational audits.
  • Monitor sales performance, customer complaints, food quality, delivery timing, and platform performance.
  • Follow up on Talabat / delivery platform issues, delays, cancellations, missing items, and bad reviews.
  • Identify weak managers, staff issues, operational failures, and repeated non-compliance.
  • Coordinate with Central Kitchen, Supply Chain, Call Center, Maintenance, Accounts, and Management.
  • Report branch performance, problems, and corrective actions clearly to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Area Manager, Operations Supervisor, Cluster Manager, or similar restaurant operations role.
  • Strong experience managing multiple restaurant branches.
  • Strong personality with the ability to manage difficult staff and enforce discipline.
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operations, cash control, food safety, hygiene, inventory, wastage, and customer service.
  • Experience with delivery platforms such as Talabat, Deliveroo, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Must be hands-on, firm, organized, responsive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Must be available during operational hours for branch escalations and urgent issues.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a disciplined field operator who knows how to control branches, manage staff, protect sales, reduce operational mistakes, enforce standards, and follow up until problems are solved. This role is not suitable for someone passive, emotional, or unable to handle pressure and staff discipline.

Pay: KD300.000 - KD500.000 per hour
