Job Purpose
The Area Manager – Barns X is responsible for overseeing the operations of Barns X branches, the premium specialty concept under the Barns brand. This role ensures that each branch consistently delivers an elevated guest experience, maintains the highest standards of specialty coffee quality, and upholds the distinctive identity of Barns X. The Area Manager acts as the operational leader and brand guardian across all assigned Barns X locations, driving performance and developing branch teams to meet the expectations of a discerning, specialty-focused clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management

Oversee daily operations across all Barns X branches, ensuring full compliance with premium service standards and specialty coffee SOPs.

Conduct regular branch visits and quality audits covering coffee quality, ambiance, service experience, and brand presentation.

Monitor branch performance data including sales, waste, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure all branches meet health, safety, and municipal regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with supply chain to maintain availability of specialty-grade ingredients and equipment.
People & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers and Shift Leaders to deliver a consistently premium guest experience.

Conduct performance reviews and build individual development plans for direct reports.

Support recruitment efforts within the area, contributing to Saudization targets.

Foster a team culture that reflects Barns X values: craftsmanship, hospitality, and excellence.

Identify and grow high-potential talent for succession within the Barns X concept.
Business Performance

Drive area revenue and profitability in line with the Barns X business plan.

Analyze branch-level P&L and take corrective action where needed.

Identify local market opportunities suited to the specialty segment and collaborate with marketing on concept-specific initiatives.

Manage area budgets including headcount, supplies, and operational costs.

Report area performance to the Operations Manager on a regular basis.
Customer Experience

Champion a premium, guest-first culture across all Barns X branches.

Monitor customer feedback and drive timely resolution of any concerns.

Ensure consistent delivery of the Barns X brand experience at every touchpoint.

Lead service excellence and NPS improvement initiatives within the area.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience:
4–6 years in F&B or specialty coffee operations, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit management role. Experience in a premium or specialty concept is preferred.

Arabic, English.

Travel:
Willingness to travel regularly across assigned Barns X locations.
