Area Manager – Construction

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: 15 Years (Construction Company Experience Only)

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with contracting companies, and possess extensive experience in steel structure construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing the execution, supervision, and coordination of multiple structural steel projects and shall provide strategic leadership throughout all phases of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple construction sites within the assigned area.
• Manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Review project budgets, cost reports, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and performance reviews.
• Approve procurement plans and monitor material availability.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including significant experience in structural steel construction.
• Experience in managing large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Having UAE driving license is preferred.
