Job Description

  • Drive design meetings, provide continual input to optimize design, minimize unnecessary work, ensure meetings are efficiently managed.
  • Provide clear and transparent communication with all internal stakeholder and external project partners
  • Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with DCID Project Manager, DCRE and consultants.
  • Coordinate for comprehensive scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate planning workshops with internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate kickoff and planning workshops with external partners
  • Facilitate design reviews in partnership with external partners
  • Facilitate large scale workshops as necessary
  • Drive technical decisions in-line with project scope, schedule, budget
  • Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction
  • Issuance of engineering information to the right party, at the right time, in the right format
  • Coordinate design teams to deliver CMMS asset list for DCIO
  • Monitor RFI process by GC. Manage the review and interrogation of RFI's as required with the project team.
  • Detailed follow-up around REWS scope (AV, furniture fitting / adjustment, samples around REWS, etc.)
  • Support and monitor AE to carry out Localization Study.
  • CSA & MEP related BIM360 submissions High Level Review
  • Coordinate for Review submissions of kitchen equipment in REWS
  • Design Progress Management of shop drawings, as-built drawings of post IFC
  • Managing & coordinating team of various verticals (Civil, MEP, HSE, Cost) for delivering greenfield data center project as per the scope.
  • Establish a structure and procedure for Project, design, construction, and other meetings.
  • Ensuring Quality delivery with the implementation of stringent process, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality project deliverables.
  • Driving Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance across all project activities, fostering a culture of safety and adherence to regulations & ensuring contractors and suppliers adhere to employer HSE standards, determine HSE KPI’s for contractor performance.
  • Monitor the performance of the consultant team and contractors to ensure that they fulfill their roles and responsibilities to the employer.
  • Undertake change management analysis and make recommendations to the employer, accordingly, raise a request for capital.
  • Identify, manage & mitigate project risks and cost impact if any.
  • Update client reports and run through a project update.
  • Assisting & tracking statutory approvals until successful DC occupational certificate from local govt authorities.
  • Drive & track technical decisions made by program & project TL’s

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical,
  • 15+ years of experience in large scale data center projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with various design tools
