Role Purpose
Area Manager will manage, lead, and support a group of restaurants (10–12 locations), ensuring excellence in four key pillars: Team, Sales, Profit, Customer & Operational Excellence. This position plays a strategic and hands-on role in driving business success through strong leadership, planning, coaching, and execution.
Key Responsibility Areas
Planning & Organizing

Partner with Restaurant General Managers to set annual and monthly business plans.

Conduct regular business reviews and performance check-ins with each restaurant.
Sales & Financial Excellence

Support marketing plan execution and new product launches.

Monitor competitor activity and share market intelligence.

Conduct P&L reviews, coach restaurant managers on corrective actions.

Track sales, labor, inventory, and cost controls to meet financial targets.

Ensure compliance with cash handling, audits, and control standards.
Restaurant & Customer Excellence

Champion customer service standards and resolve serious customer issues.

Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure team readiness for all audits (health, labor, etc.).

Support technology use (POS, operational systems) and maintenance scheduling.

Lead customer satisfaction initiatives - accuracy, speed, courtesy, cleanliness.
People Management & Team Development

Drive team engagement based on employee feedback surveys.

Identify and develop high-potential team members.

Ensure completion of training and development plans.

Lead performance evaluations, succession plans, and compliance with safety procedures.

Address team issues in collaboration with HR and operations leadership.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Hospitality or related field preferred).

5–6 years of experience in multi-unit operations, ideally within the food service, hospitality, or retail sector.

Proven ability to manage teams, deliver KPIs, and build customer-focused cultures.
