Area Operations Manager

We’re looking for an Operations Area Manager to oversee inbound, logistics, outbound, and inventory operations within a designated warehouse area. In this role, you’ll lead teams, implement best practices, and drive operational excellence with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. What You’ll Be Doing:

Inbound Operations

• Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processes.
• Align inbound schedules with capacity to avoid delays and maximize space utilization.
• Conduct quality and quantity inspections, resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Outbound Operations

• Lead order fulfillment from picking to dispatch, meeting SLAs and quality standards.
• Implement quality control checkpoints to reduce errors and boost customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and transit times.

Logistics Operations

• Develop route planning and fleet management strategies for cost-effective deliveries.
• Negotiate with carriers for competitive pricing and improved service levels.
• Oversee reverse logistics for returns and exchanges, minimizing losses.

Inventory Operations

• Implement inventory management strategies, including cycle counts and audits.
• Track stock movements using FIFO/FEFO to reduce obsolescence.
• Analyze discrepancies and apply corrective measures to prevent shrinkage.

General Leadership

• Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of accountability.
• Drive workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage operational costs through staffing optimization and process automation.
• Build relationships across internal teams and external partners to improve supply chain efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Management (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Expertise in inventory control, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, route planning, and supply chain optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS proficiency.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement, apply lean methodologies, and manage KPIs effectively.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
