Job Title: Area Operator – Dewatering

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Area Operator – Dewatering to support mine dewatering operations by operating, monitoring, and maintaining dewatering pumps, transformers, and associated systems. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient water management while complying with operational, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor dewatering pumps, transformers, and associated equipment to ensure efficient mine dewatering operations.

Monitor water levels, flow rates, equipment performance, and SCADA systems.

Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and basic troubleshooting.

Maintain accurate operational logs, shift reports, and equipment records.

Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and HSE teams to optimize equipment performance and operational efficiency.

Respond promptly to alarms, equipment failures, and emergency situations.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, LOTOTO procedures, mining regulations, and environmental requirements.

Identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

DAE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

8–10 years of relevant experience in dewatering systems, mining operations, utilities, water treatment, or similar industrial environments.

Strong knowledge of pumps, transformers, motors, SCADA systems, and water management operations.

Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow operational procedures.

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: PKR 161,000 per month
