We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Head to lead our sales operations in the assigned territory. This senior-level role involves managing a team of sales professionals, ensuring they achieve their targets and KPIs, and driving overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Establish and nurture strong sales account relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls and follow-ups to generate and maintain a pipeline of leads.
  • Plan and execute regular field visits to customers to understand their evolving needs and strengthen relationships.
  • Monitor team performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Ensure availability of all brands, SKUs, and product packs in the territory.
  • Drive new account conversion and retention of existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to plan and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and achieve growth targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a senior-level or team-leading role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a sales team to deliver results.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach.
