Position Description:

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Area Sales Manager in Iowa! This person is responsible for driving strategic sales growth within an assigned area. This role provides leadership and direction to sales teams, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue, client acquisition, and profitability goals. The Area Sales Manager executes area-specific sales strategies, develops market intelligence, and aligns team performance with company objectives. By combining strong business acumen with effective people leadership, this position builds and maintains a high-performing sales culture that supports long-term client partnerships and sustainable business expansion.

What You'll Be Doing:

Directs the overall sales performance of the assigned area, providing guidance to next-level leaders, ensuring consistent business growth, while leading and executing on company sales initiatives.

Executes on area-specific sales strategies, holding staff accountable for performance, leveraging action planning to achieve intended revenue and client acquisition results.

Leads the talent management strategy for sales teams by understanding market trends, client demand, and competitive intelligence, creating targeted action plans to maximize growth.

Assists in the creation of sales forecasts, revenue targets, and budget-related decisions that contribute to a profitable area and/or region.

Develops credibility within the region as a workforce solutions expert through networking, relationship building, and establishing strong professional presence in the market.

Performs the full range of managerial responsibilities including interviewing, coaching, developing, promoting company values, assigning and directing work; ensuring compliance with EEO; performance management; and budgeting.

Other duties as assigned to support company growth and sales excellence.

What We Look For:

High school diploma or GED required, bachelors preferred or relevant education and experience

3- 5 years of related Sales Experience

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional networks.

Skilled in effective negotiation and influencing outcomes.

Delivers exceptional customer service and client support.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exercises discretion and upholds strict confidentiality in all matters.

Strong presentation skills.
