Danfoss is a global leader providing innovative solutions in the industrial and hydraulic hose industry. We are seeking a dedicated Area Sales Manager to drive our growth in the Germany region, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve strategic sales objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities of Industrial and Hydraulic Hose in the German market. You will strengthen existing customer portfolios, develop new business opportunities and execute regional strategies to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute sales and growth strategies within distribution channels in the German market,
  • Manage key customer relationships and develop new business partnerships,
  • Create and implement strategies to increase sales volume and profitability,
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new opportunities,
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management teams to develop technical solutions aligned with customer requirements,
  • Manage the sales budget, targets, and performance reporting,
  • Develop pricing strategies and ensure consistency within the global pricing structure,
  • Prepare sales forecasts and regularly share performance reports with management.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or Business Administration),
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or regional sales (preferably in hose or fluid conveyance products),
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken,
  • Strong market knowledge, customer relationship management, and strategic planning skills,
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting,
  • Experienced in MS Office and CRM systems,
  • Result-oriented, solution-driven, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative,
  • Willingness to travel and valid driving license.
