We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations in assigned territories. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in FMCG or food industry sales, strong team leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for sales planning, distributor management, market expansion, and team supervision to ensure consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Manage distributors, dealers, and retail network in the assigned area.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor sales representatives to maximize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Conduct market visits to assess competitor activities, pricing, and product placement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for trade promotions and merchandising.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Prepare sales reports and share insights with senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in FMCG or food industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of distribution channels, trade marketing, and retail management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
