Area Sales Manager – Catalyst Education

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving B2B institutional sales,

directly collaborating with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. The role

focuses on promoting and implementing Catalyst Education’s courses, building strong

institutional relationships, generating revenue, and supporting brand-building activities in

assigned regions. The ASM will work closely with and report to the Marketing

Department.

Key Responsibilities

1. B2B Institutional Collaboration

● Identify and approach potential institutions for collaboration.

● Conduct meetings, product demos, and presentations for Principals, HODs, and

management.

● Understand institution needs and offer appropriate Catalyst Education courses and

partnerships.

● Manage onboarding of new institutions from initial contact to agreement signing.

2. Course Promotion & Implementation

● Present Catalyst’s course modules, benefits, and implementation structure to

institutions.

● Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee smooth installation and setup of courses.

● Support the institution during the initial rollout and ensure successful implementation.

● Collect feedback and address institution concerns on time.

3. Revenue Generation & Sales Targets

● Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets set by the company.

● Create and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent fieldwork and

networking.

● Submit proposals, negotiate pricing, and close institutional deals.

● Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and revenue reports.

4. Brand Building & Market Expansion

● Ensure Catalyst’s brand visibility through field activities, collaborations, and

networking.

● Identify new business opportunities and unexplored markets within the territory.

● Support the marketing team in executing promotional campaigns.

5. Relationship Management

● Build and maintain healthy long-term relationships with all partnered institutions.

● Act as the main point of contact for institutions for support, updates, and future

requirements.

● Conduct regular follow-up meetings to ensure strong engagement and retention.

● Build trust and credibility to ensure repeat business from institutions.

6. Coordination With Marketing Department

● Report daily/weekly sales activities, progress, and field updates to the marketing

team.

● Share institution requirements for promotional materials, brochures, and course

content.

● Work collaboratively with marketing to improve lead quality and territory-specific

campaigns.

Additional Responsibilities

● Conduct competitor analysis and share insights with management.

● Maintain complete documentation of collaborations and agreements.

● Handle field travel and manage the territory independently.

● Ensure compliance with Catalyst Education’s brand guidelines and ethics

Skills & Qualities Required

● Strong communication and presentation skills.

● Good negotiation and persuasion capability.

● Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

● Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

● Good understanding of the education sector (preferred but not mandatory).

● Strong problem-solving and customer handling skills.

Eligibility

● Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred).

● 1–4 years of experience in B2B or institutional sales (education sector preferred).

● Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
