Role Summary:
The Area Manager – Payment Lounge (Online Acquiring) will be responsible for driving business growth in the online acquiring segment through merchant onboarding, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:


    Drive business development for online acquiring (payment gateway) products within the assigned region.

    Identify SME and Enterprise potential merchants across various sectors.

    Identify, onboard, and manage merchants and partners to grow transaction volumes and revenue.

    Manage end-to-end merchant lifecycle including onboarding, activation, and retention.

    Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring smooth operations and resolution of service issues.

    Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning

    Coordinate with product, risk, operations, and technology teams to enable seamless merchant integration and transaction processing.

    Monitor performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.


Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

    3–5 years of experience in online acquiring, digital payments, or merchant services.

    Good understanding of payment gateways, digital payments, and the fintech industry.

    Proven ability to meet business targets and manage key accounts effectively.

    Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Experience Level

2 - 5 years
