Position Overview

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across Plains & Prints and R.A.F. boutiques. This role provides both strategic leadership and hands-on support to store managers and sales teams, ensuring each location achieves its sales targets, upholds brand standards, and consistently delivers outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Performance Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals across all assigned boutiques.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Identify business growth opportunities and create action plans to maximize store performance.

2. Store Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure store operations align with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock management, and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Conduct routine store visits and operational audits to ensure excellence in execution.
  • Enforce visual merchandising guidelines to strengthen brand identity and enhance customer experience.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead the recruitment, training, and career development of store managers and frontline sales teams.
  • Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to build high-performing teams.
  • Facilitate ongoing training sessions to improve product knowledge, selling techniques, and service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and collaboration.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Ensure boutiques consistently deliver a premium, brand-aligned shopping experience.
  • Address and resolve customer issues effectively, while implementing initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and events to drive traffic and strengthen brand engagement.

5. Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare accurate sales reports, performance reviews, and business insights for senior leadership.
  • Manage store budgets and expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations) to align initiatives and optimize results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
