Role Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for achieving sales, collection, and market expansion targets for the assigned territory — Jaipur city and near by areas. This role involves managing and motivating a team of Territory Sales Executives (TSEs), building strong dealer and distributor networks, ensuring brand visibility, and driving Hyglow’s LED lighting product range across the channel and retail market.

The ASM will act as a bridge between the management and on-ground sales teams, ensuring business growth through structured planning, execution, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and collection targets for the assigned territory.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor the TSEs and sales representatives.
  • Appoint, develop, and manage new dealers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Ensure proper product display, availability, and visibility at retail counters.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track secondary sales and competitor activities.
  • Implement company schemes, offers, and promotional plans effectively.
  • Conduct dealer meets, electrician programs, and other channel engagement activities.
  • Maintain sales records, collection reports, and DSR reviews for all TSEs.
  • Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide regular market intelligence, feedback, and suggestions to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (Preferred: Commerce / Marketing / Electrical background).
  • 4–8 years of experience in channel sales of electrical/lighting industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing field teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of Haryana’s local market and dealer network.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and WhatsApp reporting.
  • Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license.
