Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location: Indore

CTC: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Industry: FMCG / FMCD / Agro / Sales

Experience Required: 5–6 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) with strong experience in FMCG or related industries. The role involves managing sales operations, handling a team, developing new business, maintaining dealer relationships, and driving sales growth across assigned zones. The candidate must be willing to travel extensively and actively engage with bakery and ice-cream clients.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities and set up client meetings

Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating them with business operations

Conduct regular sales visits, take orders, and ensure smooth supply chain coordination

Communicate new product developments and explain product applications to customers

Plan and execute events, promotions, and exhibitions to boost brand visibility and sales

Participate in all-India level exhibitions as per company requirements

Client Handling & Technical Support

Visit bakery and ice-cream clients to explain products and applications

Address and resolve technical issues at bakery/ice-cream production units with the help of technical teams

Ensure proper utilization of technical personnel to focus on key products and generate orders

Dealer & Stock Management

Monitor supply management and follow up with dealers

Maintain correct stock levels at dealer points

Ensure smooth coordination between company, dealers, and clients

Team Management

Handle, guide, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets

Ensure effective territory coverage and productivity

Provide regular feedback and performance updates to management

Reporting & Compliance

Submit daily sales reports and monthly working reports systematically

Maintain records as per company standards

Protect organizational values by maintaining confidentiality of business information

Communication & Coordination Responsibilities

Follow up on new business opportunities

Plan and prepare sales presentations

Oversee development of marketing and promotional materials

Write sales and performance reports

Provide regular market feedback to management

Travel Requirement

Willingness to travel 15–20 days per month within the assigned zone

Ready to travel across East / West / North / South Zones as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–6 years of experience in FMCG / FMCD / Agro / Sales

Proven experience in team handling and field sales

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Self-motivated, sincere, and target-driven

Ability to manage multiple territories and extensive travel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
