Job Description

  • Oversee the overall sales and operations of assigned bakery outlets efficiently and effectively under the general guidance of the COO.
  • Drive sales growth and business development through continuous efforts and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for institutional sales, focusing on special cakes and Live Baking concepts.
  • Assist the COO in establishing, updating, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales and operations at assigned bakery outlets.
  • Manage and train sales staff in assigned branches, including conducting on-the-job training for newly hired team members.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets with a special focus on sustained sales growth under the guidance of the COO.
  • Utilize customer profiling data to enhance sales growth, customer retention, and satisfaction, and submit weekly reports to the COO.
  • Implement and monitor an intelligent ordering system to ensure just-in-time (JIT) ordering, minimizing wastage and returns, in close coordination with branch in-charges.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update staff shift duty rosters in coordination with the COO, and rotate shift staff across outlets as needed with prior intimation.
  • Reconcile daily cash transactions with sales data and submit reports to the COO.
  • Oversee daily petty cash reconciliation for outlets and report to the COO.
  • Conduct monthly performance evaluations, including turnover, probation, and overall performance assessments, in collaboration with branch managers.
  • Perform daily visits to assigned bakery outlets, including surprise visits during odd hours, maintain logs, and generate detailed reports for the COO.
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process for sales staff, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
  • Foster a motivated and cohesive team environment to provide exceptional customer service and retain sales staff for longer tenures.
  • Provide on-floor training to sales staff on packing, hygiene, workflow, and courteous customer service at assigned bakery outlets.
  • Submit daily reports on sales, stock levels, wastage, and returns to the COO.
  • Ensure optimal ordering of bakery and miscellaneous items to prevent overstocking or shortages.

Qualifications & Skills We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 4–6 years of hands-on experience in field retail sales within the bakery industry.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to analyze data, track performance, and deliver actionable insights to boost sales and growth.
  • Retail Sales & Branding: Proven experience in driving retail sales & operations and building successful brands within the retail sector.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and leading teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Problem-Solver: A creative thinker who thrives on overcoming challenges and delivering solutions that make an impact.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
