Job Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Area Sales Manager with strong experience in the retail footwear industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple store operations, driving sales performance, leading retail teams, and ensuring excellent customer experience across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of multiple retail footwear stores
- Achieve and exceed area sales targets and revenue goals
- Monitor store performance, KPIs, and sales trends
- Train, supervise, and motivate store managers and sales staff
- Ensure excellent customer service standards across all outlets
- Plan and execute sales strategies, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Maintain inventory control and coordinate with supply chain teams
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance reviews for management
- Ensure brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines are followed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 4–7 years of retail sales experience, preferably in footwear or fashion retail
- Proven experience managing multiple store locations
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Excellent sales planning and performance monitoring abilities
- Good understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail reporting tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in footwear retail brands
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
