Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager for engineering and industrial products sales. The ideal candidate must have strong technical sales expertise and a proven track record in selling mechanical engineering products including compressors, generators, steel pipes, and related industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Manage and expand business relationships with industrial and engineering sector clients.
- Promote and sell compressors, generators, GRS systems, steel pipes, and other mechanical engineering products.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in assigned territories.
- Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Agriculture Engineering / Industrial Engineering (BE Mechanical or BS Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in engineering or industrial products.
- Strong experience in sales of compressors, generators, steel pipes, and related mechanical products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of industrial and engineering market dynamics.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage key accounts independently.
- Must be willing to travel as per business requirements.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: 100,000-150,000 +other perks & benefits
Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per hour
