Area Sales Officer

India

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the civil engineering and construction industry.

· Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and other stakeholders.

· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.

· Achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.

Market Research and Analysis:

· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.

· Develop strategies to position the company's products and services effectively in the market.

· Stay updated on industry advancements and standards.

Marketing Strategy:

· Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the company’s brand and services.

· Manage online and offline marketing initiatives, including social media, trade shows, and networking events.

· Create promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements.

Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.

· Act as a primary point of contact to address client queries and ensure satisfaction.

· Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company objectives.

Collaboration:

· Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to align sales and marketing strategies with project deliverables.

· Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings.

Reporting and Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project updates.

· Prepare periodic sales and marketing performance reports for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the civil engineering or construction sector is a plus.

· Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, materials, and project lifecycle.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

· Willingness to travel as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹39,486.37 - ₹77,055.85 per month
