Area Superintendent / Maintenance Head

The role is responsible for ensuring that daily maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, and predictive) for mechanical, I/E, and rotating equipment at the refinery are carried out by the contractor, in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards to ensure sector availability, reliability, and operational continuity.

Responsibilities include executing all maintenance jobs assigned to the contractor related to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation of the refinery plant, in accordance with company standards. Regular reporting on maintenance execution should be maintained in the CMMS system at SATORP's plant.

The role requires providing support to the planning and scheduling supervisor and assisting the company's reliability department in bad actor analysis.

Additional duties include:

• Preparing weekly reports and discussing them in maintenance meetings.
• Reviewing and enhancing personnel knowledge through job-specific training in coordination with the HR department.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements during job execution.

Candidate profile:

• University-level engineering degree with experience as a maintenance engineer in a refining environment or equivalent training.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in a refinery plant.
• Good knowledge of refining equipment, team management, maintenance contract supervision, and safety rules.
• Well-organized, proactive, with excellent communication skills and proven leadership abilities in large organizations.
• Ability to make sound judgments under pressure and resolve problems effectively.
• Strategic thinker, open to new ideas, capable of achieving business results in a multicultural environment.
