Position Overview

Allstate Security is seeking highly professional Armed Executive Protection Officers, with a strong preference for off-duty or retired law enforcement personnel, to support VIP clients, private events, and high-profile assignments throughout Los Angeles. This is an on-call, as-needed position, with assignments based on client needs and event schedules.

Officers will provide close protection, maintain a secure environment, and ensure the safety of clients, staff, and guests. This role requires a high level of situational awareness, discretion, and professionalism, along with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and high-visibility environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide close protection for clients and VIP personnel
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Assist with crowd control and access management
• Conduct threat assessments and maintain situational awareness
• Escort clients safely throughout venues and between locations
• Monitor surroundings for suspicious activity and respond accordingly
• Coordinate with event staff, security teams, and management
• Follow all post orders, use-of-force policies, and legal guidelines

Schedule

On-call / As needed

Shifts vary based on assignments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Uniform Requirement (Strict)

• Black suit
• White dress shirt
• Black tie
• Black dress shoes

Required Qualifications

• Active BSIS Guard Card
• Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
• Valid CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon permit)
• Must be authorized and comfortable with open carry and concealed carry, in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or former law enforcement (off-duty police officers highly preferred)
• Prior Executive Protection experience
• Experience working in high-profile or VIP environments
• Advanced training in threat assessment and de-escalation

Work Environment

This role involves working in high-profile environments including private events, public venues, and executive settings. Officers must be adaptable, maintain discretion, and provide a high level of service while ensuring safety at all times.
