Armed Security Guard – Costco & London Townhomes

Alpha7 Protective Services is seeking highly professional and reliable Armed Security Guards to provide coverage at Costco retail locations and the London Townhomes residential community. These posts require strong situational awareness, excellent customer service, and consistent adherence to safety and security protocols.

Position: Armed Security Guard

Employment Type: Full‑Time / Part‑Time

Locations:

• Costco Sites – Chicago, IL
• London Townhomes – Chicago, IL

Pay: Based on experience and site assignment

Shifts: Days, evenings, overnights, weekends

Key Responsibilities-

• Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence at assigned site.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to deter theft, disturbances, and unauthorized activity.
• Conduct foot patrols, observe and report suspicious behavior, and enforce site rules.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and passdowns.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers.
• Uphold Alpha7’s standards for professionalism, reliability, and safety.

Requirements-

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid PERC, FOID, and Armed Security Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of armed security experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills for retail and residential environments.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to remain calm, assertive, and professional during high‑pressure situations.

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
