Role Overview

We are seeking a creative, skilled, and passionate Art & Craft Teacher to develop artistic skills in students from Primary to Senior levels and contribute to the school’s cultural, creative, and aesthetic development programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Skill Development

• Teach drawing, painting, sketching, colouring, and various craft activities to different grade levels.
• Introduce students to techniques such as shading, poster colours, watercolours, basic design, paper craft, pottery basics, and model making.
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression in students.

2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Execution

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE art curriculum and school guidelines.
• Conduct art-integrated learning activities linked to academic subjects.
• Plan age-appropriate projects, assignments, and exhibitions.

3. Event & Activity Coordination

• Guide students in creating artwork for school events, displays, competitions, and exhibitions.
• Decorate boards, classrooms, and event venues as required.
• Organize art competitions, craft workshops, and festival-related creative activities.

4. Student Engagement & Classroom Management

• Maintain an inspiring, safe, and disciplined learning environment.
• Identify talented students and provide advanced guidance.
• Promote teamwork, patience, and respect for creative expression.

5. Administrative & Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, portfolios, and student progress records.
• Manage art supplies, tools, and materials efficiently.
• Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, training sessions, and school programs.
• Collaborate with cultural, activity, and academic teams.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts or related field.
• 3 years Experience teaching Art & Craft to school students preferred.
• Strong artistic and creative skills across various mediums.
• Ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate creative lessons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
