Art Director

At Boncom, you’ll have the opportunity to work for clients that are actively trying to make the world a better place. We primarily work with non-profit and cause-based clients. Our creative team is solving big meaningful problems around creating work promoting mental health, civil discourse, and the 2034 Olympic games to name a few.

We have a need for a full-time Art Director. You’ll be responsible for wowing your creative directors with your ideas and design skills. You’ll spend a lot of time with a copywriter dreaming up ridiculously big ideas as well as elegantly practical solutions, and you’ll be responsible for bringing those ideas to life. Sometimes you’ll work with outside vendors such as photographers, filmmakers, re-touchers, illustrators, animators, editors and print vendors.

Duties

• Creative problem solving demonstrated in strong conceptual ideas and execution
• Design print ads, TV, outdoor, Direct Mail, Collateral, Digital (Content and ads), social, UX and Activations.
• Responsible for visual consistency across media from original concept through final release
• Translate strategic direction (as outlined in a Creative Brief) into powerful advertising concepts
• Work as a team with a copywriter
• Take creative direction and turn work around quickly to meet deadlines
• Confidently present ideas both internal and externally
• Contribute to the creative culture of the agency
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Firm knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Hybrid designer: print and digital
• Degree in Art Design/Advertising (or a strong argument for something else)
• Demonstrate outstanding creative conceptual and design skills through a portfolio that is clean and visually strong
