About the Role
Rothschild Downes is seeking a highly skilled and visually driven Technical Designer to lead the creation of compelling design deliverables across commercial architecture, CAD production, branding, and visualization. This role is both creative and technical - ideal for a multidisciplinary design professional who thrives on managing project scope, timelines, and client-facing assets across departments.
What You'll Do

Serve as the main point of contact managing project scope, resources, and timelines for design services, signage criteria, rendering packages, and more

Develop high-impact renderings, marketing packages, and visual content tailored to clients, tenants, and end users

Produce clear, timely, and typo-free design deliverables aligned with RD standards using a systematic approach: wireframes, TOCs, visual libraries, etc.

Lead the creative vision for RD design services and advance brand visuals across Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, LinkedIn, and other platforms

Maintain an organized library of visual assets, project backgrounds, and template documents while managing copyrights and usage standards

Support cross-functional execution with site survey, architectural documentation, and internal initiatives

Integrate CAD work with LODs, lease plans, surveys, and cross-disciplinary project data
Qualifications & Required Experience

5+ years in design, CAD, or graphics management roles (e.g., Design Service Manager, CAD Manager)

Track record of delivering full-phase design services on time and within budget

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Graphic Design, or related fields

Maintained utilization metrics and contributed to department goals for 6+ months

Endorsed by supervisor or executive leadership for performance
Technical & Design Skills

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or BIM software

Advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

Solid understanding of LODs, lease plans, and merchandising plan development

Experience with file management, data workflows, and formatting standards

Familiarity with SAAS based tracking software such as TCTrac, EOSOne, FreshBooks, etc.

Job Requirements

Regional travel required to satellite offices and project sites throughout the Denver Metropolitan area with occasional domestic travel as necessary.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time, stand for long periods of time, walk construction sites and go up and down stairs.
